Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the most common questions about Connected Parenting™ Coaching and Private French Lessons.
Connected Parenting™ Coaching FAQs
What ages does coaching cover?
My coaching works with parents of children of all ages — whether you're navigating toddler tantrums or teenage independence, the principles of connected parenting apply at every stage.
Will this approach help if my child has ADHD, is gifted, or has other unique needs?
Yes. Connected parenting isn't a one-size-fits-all method — it's about understanding your child's nervous system, needs, and behavior, which makes it especially valuable for kids who don't fit a standard mold. I bring both my teaching background and my own experience as a parent of three very different kids to this work.
How many sessions will it take?
Coaching is available as a single session or as a 6-session package. Real change in how you connect with your child usually takes more than one conversation — a package gives us the space to build understanding, try new approaches, and adjust as we go.
Do we meet online?
Yes, all coaching sessions are held online, so we can work together no matter where you're located.
Private French Lessons FAQs
What grades do you teach?
My expertise in Grade 4-9 but I can support all learnings in French. I also a familiar with the IB program and can help prepare students for exams and assessments.
Do lessons follow a curriculum, or are they tailored to my child?
Lessons follow the Ontario Curriculum, with enrichment built in — so your child stays on track with what they need for school, while also being challenged and engaged beyond the basics.
Can I book online lessons, in-person lessons, or small group sessions?
Both — French lessons are available online or in person, including small in-person groups.
How is this different from a typical tutor?
I'm not a tutor — I'm a teacher, with over two decades of real classroom experience teaching French, 19 of those years at an elite private school in Toronto. That means I bring actual curriculum expertise and instructional training to every lesson, not just help with homework.
